Mega Hertz is a Value-Added-Reseller (VAR) of Unique Multi-Vendor, Multi-Technology System Solutions (MVSS) that support the deployment of advanced video, voice and data technologies in Fiber/Coax based Broadband/IP networks. MHz is focused on providing migration path products and solutions required in the All Digital network transition taking place within the U.S. by Broadband/IP Service Providers.
MHz “Engineering & Integration Group” provides pre-sale Engineering, Design, Project Management, Installation, Activation & Training, as well, as Level 1 product support for MHz advanced video, voice and data end2end solutions.
Company History
Mega Hertz began operation on September 26, 1975 as a Manufacturers’ Representative for LRC Electronics (1975-1989). Although we no longer represent LRC, they were the foundation upon which MHz was built.
Today with offices nationwide, MHz is a Value-Added-Reseller ( VAR ) of “Unique” Multi-Vendor System Solutions (MVSS). We are highly focused on the “All-Digital” transition taking place within the U.S, Cable and IPTV industries and provide multi-technology migration-path products into projects, that can include engineering, design and integration, which blend and created solutions that support the deployment of advanced technologies in Fiber/Coax based Broadband/IP networks. As the U.S. Cable industry continues to rapidly migrate into IP technologies, it is our goal to be the leading Provider of new technology products, technical support and system integration services that Broadband Video Service Providers will need and require. Our recent selection by Cisco and achievement of Premier Channel Partner places us one step closer to our goal.
In early 2008, MHz began the build-out of a very large IPTV Headend for a Public Utility, which MHz was selected to provide Engineering, Design, Project Management, the complete video platform, as well as, installation services through our Systems Integration and Services Group. In addition, MHz remains the only Supplier in the Cable Industry with a complete end-2-end Digital Simulcast solution and integration package. Since 2006, we have completed projects for many of the Tier 1/2 MSO 's.
Because of our 33 year history within the Cable Television industry and our expertise in traditional video, RF, MPEG and IP technologies, MHz is absolutely one of the best Partners a Broadband/Cable/IPTV Operator can select.
